Today, discover a more authentic side of Santo Domingo, getting up close and personal with local life.

Accompanied by your guide, you’ll explore a working-class neighborhood in the capital. Discover murals, local initiatives, and the neighborhood’s artisans and artists. Stop at a typical colmado.

You’ll be welcomed into a local home to enjoy a cup of coffee prepared the Dominican way, before crossing the Ozama River by boat just like the locals.

The day continues with a traditional lunch, a visit to crystal-clear springs, and a cable car ride to take in the views of Santo Domingo’s neighborhoods.

Departure for the Samaná Peninsula, one of the country’s most spectacular regions.

On the way, stop at Salto Socoa, a waterfall hidden amid tropical vegetation where you can take a dip in the cool water.

You’ll then continue on to Las Terrenas for lunch overlooking the ocean, and from there, the journey continues to Las Galeras, a little slice of paradise located at the tip of the peninsula.

Today, set sail for a day-long catamaran cruise in Samaná Bay to explore some of the region’s most beautiful beaches.

First stop: Playa Frontón, a spectacular beach flanked by cliffs and accessible only by sea.

The cruise continues to Playa Rincón, often considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the Dominican Republic. Enjoy a Dominican lunch with your feet in the sand.

The day can continue at Playa Grande, one of the region’s most beautiful beaches, renowned for its restaurants serving grilled fish and seafood.

Today, you’ll leave the mountains of Jarabacoa behind and head to Barahona, a remote region in the southern Dominican Republic known for its largely unspoiled natural landscapes.

The road winds through mountainous terrain before running along the Caribbean Sea. This part of the country reveals another side of the Dominican Republic, with pristine beaches and intensely turquoise waters.

Check in at your oceanfront eco-hotel, a peaceful spot ideal for enjoying the tranquility of this remote region.

This day trip offers the chance to explore several iconic natural sites in the southern part of the country.

You’ll visit Bahía de las Águilas, a beach located in Jaragua National Park. This protected area features nearly 8 kilometers of white sand bordered by deep turquoise waters and is accessible only by boat.

Another option is Laguna de Oviedo, a large saltwater lagoon dotted with small islands where you can spot flamingos and rhinoceros iguanas.

You can also follow the coastline to explore the San Rafael and Los Patos rivers, known for their cool waters that flow directly into the sea.
