Today, set out with your guide from Bayahibe to discover Dominican life in the Higüey region.

You’ll pass through traditional villages and spend some time with a local family before exploring the cacao, coffee, and sugarcane plantations.

Stop at the Higüey Basilica, followed by a visit to a local market. Enjoy a traditional meal for lunch at a casa típica.

The day ends with a visit to an artisan cigar factory, including a tasting of local products.
