We recommend two options depending on your preferences: stay 4 nights in Las Terrenas, a lively beach resort known for its magnificent beaches and numerous restaurants, or combine 2 nights in Las Terrenas with 2 nights in Las Galeras, a small, peaceful village at the tip of the peninsula.

The trail winds through tropical vegetation and takes about 40 minutes to reach, either on foot or on horseback. Upon arrival, an impressive waterfall awaits you, where you can even take a dip.

Depending on the season, there are several activities to enjoy.

From January through March, take a boat trip to watch humpback whales, which come to Samaná Bay every year to breed.

During the off-season, you can enjoy a day of adventure in the jungle with zip lines, a fun activity that families especially love.
